Is RAMCO a Microsoft certified training center?

RAMCO is a current Microsoft Certified
Partner.
Does RAMCO offer MOS training?
RAMCO's training for most MS Office applications will help students master
the skills necessary for passing the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification
tests.
Does RAMCO offer MOS testing?
Currently, RAMCO does not offer testing. Testing sites are listed on the
Microsoft MOS web site at www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/officespecialist/requirements.asp.
What are the class times?
Our standard, open enrollment classes are held from 8:30am - 4:30pm with
a one-hour lunch break.
What are the class sizes?
Our maximum class size is 10-12 students, each with their own workstation.
Do you offer weekend classes?
RAMCO offers private group training with hours designed to conveniently meet
the needs of our customers. Companies may arrange to schedule their classes
during non-traditional days or hours. Please consult with a customer service
representative for more information.

Our classroom facilities are conveniently located in Tacoma, Seattle, and

What should I bring to class?
A writing utensil for making notes might be helpful. Since most classes include
the lunch period, you may want to bring a lunch or money to purchase something
at one of the local eateries. There are microwaves in our Seattle and Tacoma
locations for those wishing to heat their lunch.
How much does a class cost?
Pricing is based on the level and number of days of the class. There are
volume discounts for corporate customers. Group training is another cost-effective
option. See our current class schedule for pricing on open enrollment classes.
What are the payment options?
Payment can be made with check, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, or RAMCO voucher. Payment
is due before or on the day of class unless other arrangements are made.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Application Class Cancellation Policy: Your registration reserves a space in class for you if space is available. To release your registration, you must cancel or reschedule at least four or more working days prior to the class date to be eligible for a refund of the class fee or to apply it to a new class. If you cancel or reschedule on any of the three working days prior to class, on or after the day of class, or do not attend the class, the class fee must be fully paid and is non-refundable and non-transferable to a new class date. Another option is to send a substitute to use your registration. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation email from us, please contact our office.
Technical Class Cancellation Policy: Your registration reserves a space in class for you if space is available. If you cancel or reschedule between five and nine business days prior to the first day class, a processing fee equal to 25% of the class fee is owed. If you cancel or reschedule on any of the nine business days prior to the first day of class, or do not attend class, the class fee must be fully paid and is non-refundable and non-transferable to a new class date. Another option is to send a substitute to use your registration. If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation email from us, please contact our office.
What are the qualifications of RAMCO instructors?
RAMCO instructors all have real-world experience in the products they teach.
RAMCO instructors average over five years with RAMCO and over ten years in the
PC training field. Many of our staff have certifications in the products they
teach and in the computer industry. Our Director of Business Development and
several instructors are Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP).
Is the training hands-on?
Yes, each student has his/her own computer.
What are the training options for corporations?
Corporate Group Training - Classes are offered for a group of your employees
at our training center or at your company's training facility.
Small Group Training - One-on-one and small group training sessions are available on a variety of topics or applications.
Open Enrollment Classes - Regularly scheduled classes are offered to individuals on a wide variety of applications. We offer more levels than any other training organization for many products.
How do I know if I have the skills for an advanced
class?
A pretest is available for most classes to help ensure that students are
placed in the right class.
What if I'm not satisfied with a class I've
taken?
If you are not satisfied with your class, you may repeat the class within 90 days on a space available basis, or we will happily refund your class fee. Contact the RAMCO Sales Department or your Training Representative today to find out about more support options we offer.
What manuals are used in class?
RAMCO-developed courseware is used for most of RAMCO's training. Occasionally,
manuals are purchased from other qualified training manual developers after
an extensive evaluation process. Most student kits include a reference manual and
quick reference card. Class data is available 24/7 from our web site. RAMCO has developed instructor-led
training materials since 1983.
