Inserting the contents of the Clipboard into an Adobe Acrobat PDF
Do you frequently receive emailed PDF files that you have to sign and return by snail mail? Rather than waste an envelope and a stamp, you could use Adobe Acrobat to insert your signature as a graphic and send the document via email. Just follow these simple steps:
In Acrobat,
Open: the document to receive your signature
In Paint (or any graphics program),
Open: your scanned signature file
Select: the portion of the graphic to insert
Press: CTRL C to copy
Note: This copies your signature to the Clipboard.
In Acrobat,
Press: CTRL V to paste
Note: Once the graphic is inserted into the PDF, it can be moved, resized, and rotated.
The above steps can be used for inserting any graphic file into a PDF. The PrintScreen key can also be used to insert a screen capture into a PDF.
